About

Katie is a creative that designs and produces sets for still life photographic shoots, experiential installations, and moving image. Beguiled by colour, the human experience, and bringing a light heart to the mundane.

Concocted interactive spatial installations at art school. Shimmied across set builds and into film shorts on a Brand Design degree. These days, Katie splits her time dipping into photoshoots, mentoring young people, and being an eternal student, studying part-time in the field of Expressive Arts Therapy. Approaching all areas as the same thing, holding space for expression and collaboration.

Alongside Katie’s practice, she has always mentored young people through her skills creatively producing spaces and sets, with an aim to use the arts as a communication tool to evoke positive change. Striving to work with brands, organisations that have their heart in the planet, and in community wellness.

Aiming to recycle all sets and materials, passing these on to charities and unfunded arts projects. Constructing witty, stimulating and well-crafted concepts. To name a few, Katie has art directed and produced sets for clients such as Sony, Barbican, Wallpaper* Magazine, Wellcome Collection and Wellcome Trust, Breast Cancer Research, RNIB, Royal College of Psychiatrists, Telegraph Luxury Magazine, The Independent, Tatler, Financial Times, FeverTree, Wonderland Magazine, Riposte, Puma, Nike, Adidas, Eastpak, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Cos, Patternity’s Installation at Somerset House.
